Every thing old.... and an opportunity for the eager beaver to become an eager archaeologist. That is just what our students are doing in Tolfa, Italy. Our students are learning the specialized techniques used to excavate and examine the unique objects that are pulled from the earth during the dig. They are also enjoying a little sight seeing.
For two weeks in March, the entire Lawrence Academy community shifts its attention from the regular academic routine to intensive courses of study that are dedicated to experiential learning. In small groups of eight to sixteen, students and teachers plunge together into the world outside the classroom (LA-Website).
