This week the group is in Tollymoore Forest Park in Ireland. This photo was taken from Google images, it was not taken by a student, but maybe the group got to see this feat of Irish stone architecture.
For two weeks in March, the entire Lawrence Academy community shifts its attention from the regular academic routine to intensive courses of study that are dedicated to experiential learning. In small groups of eight to sixteen, students and teachers plunge together into the world outside the classroom (LA-Website).

Land of the Leprechaun
Lawrence Academy sends people all over the world during Winterim. For the second year in a row a group of students are in Ireland to photograph that wondrous land. The group is being lead by John Rooney and our very own Laurie McGowan, both of whom are professional photographers. Another leader is NGP teacher Matt Greene who has "always wanted to go to Ireland."
